The North Softball Policies

Selection

• Athletes are required to participate in the scheduled tryout. Athletes injured during or before tryouts or those unable to attend may be evaluated based on previous experience and/or have an individual tryout session.
• Head coach will make selections based on the tryout evaluation consisting of a panel of coaches. 
• Roster sizes will consist of 11-13 players. Coaches that wish to have a roster size that is not consistent with this will be required to garner board approval. The Board has approved of additional players make the team on a practice and scrimmage bases to help more youth improve their skills. 

Player Eligibility

• Player must be committed to playing for the North during the season which runs from September 2023 through July 2024
• Player is only eligible to tryout for the team that corresponds with their current age. Exceptions may be approved by the board on an individual bases. 

Player Dues

• Player dues will be $300 for 12U, $500 for 14U and $500 for 16/18U which will provide the following: USA Player Registration Fees,  Tournament Entry Fees, Gym Use/Field Use Fees, Required Insurance, Certain Practice Equipment, Uniform (Tops) Usage Fees
